Many people I have spoken with recently have mentioned how the Covid pandemic has made them re-think many aspects of their lives. I hear my patients and students say they are contemplating what is important in life and what they need to let go. At Raja Yoga we are re-evaluating our class schedule to see how we can offer classes that address our current health challenges and make them easy to access. In my medical practice, the most common health problems I see are weight gain from stress eating, anxiety and depression from feeling overwhelmed, insomnia, and a general lack of exercise and self-care.
In response to the changing times, I am offering a new "Yoga for Health" class on Saturday mornings. Soon I will be offering health related class series, workshops, and support groups. I will cover topics such as stress management, weight management, dealing with back and neck pain, breathing, meditation, balancing the chakras, and many other topics. We would like your feedback and ideas as we want to provide a platform that best addresses your health concerns and personal goals. Live Classes and New Online Classes
We know some of you are ready to get back to classes at the studio and so are we. Beginning June 6, we will open some of our classes for in-person attendance. There will be a maximum of 12 spots available so sign up soon to reserve your space! Students must bring their own mats, blankets, bolsters, and water.
